In our industry it is important to stay on top of the latest technology and trends. That is why on April 30th to May 4th our Art Director, Shannon attended the Future Insights Live conference in Las Vegas. This conference was loaded with some of the best developers and designers in the industry. Each day Shannon had to choose from dozens of sessions. The hard part was choosing the sessions that fit The Webwright the best. This was not easy. Each session had between four and six different speakers.

In all there were ninety three different sessions! These sessions were broken down into different categories: Hardcore Code, Biz Bytes, Pure Design, Front End Dev, Cloud, Consumerization, Social Business, Big Data, Mobile Dev, and Mobile Design. Shannon focused on Pure Design and Front End Dev. Next time we need to send our other folks to participate in the other sessions.

The first day of the conference included all day workshops. Shannon attended HTML5 and CSS3 taught by Molly Holzschlag. Molly is the author of 35 books all related to web development and design. Shannon learned some amazing things that can be done with HTML5 and CSS3. We have already implemented this new technology into our recent projects.

What did Shannon learn? This conference was so packed full of information. We should say "What didn't Shannon learn?". Fortunately the conference organizers were smart enough to video all of the sessions so now we can review all the information and absorb even more knowledge.

This was a great experience. Through exposure to training like this we are able to bring the latest and greatest in web technology back to Wyoming where we can share it with our company and customers.
