Personally, I like supporting “family” owned businesses/local businesses/Wyoming businesses, and I know that my hosting is being handled with care, as opposed to other companies where I feel like “I’m a number,” and not a customer. Know what I mean? One of the other things I have told business clients of mine, is that you want to have your data/hosting with a company, such as Wyoming.com, that is not in a ‘natural disaster prone area’, such as S. California, coastal areas in the south U.S., Florida, etc. Even though I live in San Diego 6 months a year, I am always “aware” of business interruption(s), and as much as we are all ‘wired’ these days into the internet, it’s important to have a good relationship with the data storage/hosting companies, in my view; after all, these are people that are handling your “business”, which is all online these days.
