Google +1 What is it?
By now you've probably seen the icon on web sites. What is it? Do you need this on your web pages?
Let's say you are surfing the web and you stumble on a web site that you find informative, entertaining or appealing in any way, you can click on their +1 icon and give them your public stamp of approval. You also have the option to leave a comment and share the link with a circle of friends in your Google+ account if you have one. Basically folks who "like" or "+1" your web site are now doing marketing for you.
The Google "+1" button is basically Google's version of a facebook "Like" button. Google+ is new but it gained 50 million users in 88 days (Sept. 26) and is still growing quickly. Will Google+ grow as large as facebook's 800+ million? Only time will tell.
If you're ready to add +1 to your site, start by creating your +1 account at Google (https://plus.google.com).
If you're not sure how to add +1 to your web site, give us a call or drop us a note and we'll help you add the +1 code to your site.
