Most people are comfortable with one web browser and they don’t use anything else. Currently the majority of the Webwright staff is using Mozilla Firefox. Even though Firefox is our favorite, it is very important for us to test our sites with all the major browsers.
Why is testing in different browsers important?
Companies that build browsers have their different ideas on how the browser should work, therefore each type of browser loads web sites differently. Sometimes these differences cause the page to load incorrectly and break or look bad.
Below you’ll see the percentage of users for each of the major browsers by month for 2011. This data was found at w3schools.com. For updates visit http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp

Then click Submit. This tool will provide screen shots of your site in different browsers from around the world and show you what it looks like in each of them.
