Event Calendars and Your Site.
Event calendars are a great way to make your site a little more dynamic. Our standard CMS (Content Management System) includes a calendar. In most cases the next three events on your calendar are displayed on the home page. When an event passes, it is automatically removed from the Coming Events box and the next event takes its place.
You don't need to have events every week or month. You may have only a couple of events a year. Add any event to your calendar, even if it's a year away, and it will still show on the Coming Events box on the home page. We can also make your calendar linear rather than gridded. A linear calendar looks better if you do not have many events because the events are the only days displayed.
Great features included with our CMS Calendar are the ability to add images and links with an event.
Think about it... open houses, season openings, sales, birthdays, holidays, special offers and so much more can be posted on the calendar. Post anything that your visitors may find useful or interesting. This will keep them coming back for more.
